Sherry Richmond, MBACP registered
I am a qualified counsellor offering counselling to individuals and couples.
I work both short term and long term with clients at my practice in Ealing.
People approach counselling for many different reasons. Sometimes it is just to get clear about a past experience or to change a habit.
At times in life you may identify a part, or parts of life, where you feel stuck.
I offer a compassionate non-judgmental space to help you hear yourself think things through and get clear about your own personal decisions.
The process can be empowering as a result.
I offer a space to explore and change the internal dialogue we sometimes have with ourselves from one that is negative and self critical, to one that is based on self respect.
Some areas we can work on include :
anxiety, panic attacks, depression, family issues, relationships, stress management, phobias, self esteem, burnout, workplace issues, career decisions, trauma, relational trauma, bereavement, self-awareness techniques and mindfulness
For Couples my goal is to create a space for both partners to share their thoughts in a safe, respectful and trusting environment.
The basis for a strong relationship is one of mutual love, trust and respect.
I believe that this can be achieved where there is intent to make the relationship work.
However stuck we may feel currently, with a new form of communication, there can be resolve when both partners truly want it.
We use the sessions to get your perspectives clearly heard and we will look at what gets in the way of intimacy.
I will offer techniques that can help you keep your relationship close, while giving each other space for individual growth and honouring your true individual selves.
Group counselling also offered in Ealing
