About me
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist, Counsellor and Relational Certified Transactional Analyst offering sessions to individuals and couples. I offer EMDR as adjunct when suitable.
I work both short term and long term with clients at my practices in Ealing West London and Oxshott & Cobham in Surrey
I work both long term and short term with individuals and couples.
People approach therapy for many different reasons. Sometimes it is just to get clear about a past experience or to change a habit. Often I have found that identifying blocks and emotional obstacles that stand in the way of a client living their full potential becomes the core of our work.
I offer a variety of techniques which can assist in removing the emotional and psychological obstacles in order to reach my clients' goals.
Autonomy stands as my overarching vision for each client's approach to their life. Your vision is unique and I support you in the aims you want to achieve so you can live your life your way and beyond limitation.
I offer an impartial ear and a collaborative space for you to find the clarity or resolve you may be seeking. I believe the answers we seek are within us. We just need to know how to connect with our truth no longer bound to pre-programming from past experiences.
The process of talking therapy and self understanding can be empowering.
Some areas we can work on include:
anxiety, phobias, generalised anxiety, panic attacks, depression, family issues, relationships, stress management, self esteem, burnout, workplace issues, career decisions, trauma, relational trauma, CPTSD, PTSD, bereavement, self-awareness techniques and mindfulness, communication.
Relationship Counselling:
For Couples my goal is to create a space for both partners to share their thoughts in a safe, respectful and trusting environment.
The basis for a strong relationship is one of mutual love, trust and respect.
I believe that this can be achieved where there is intent to make the relationship work.
However stuck we may feel currently, with a new form of communication, there can be resolve when both partners truly want it.
We use the sessions to get your perspectives clearly heard and we will look at what gets in the way of intimacy.
I will offer techniques that can help you keep your relationship close, while giving each other space for individual growth and honouring your true individual selves.

I usually suggest a free phone or video consultation where we discuss your needs in depth and discuss the way I work. I complete a clinical assessment during the consultation which will help identify the most supportive and suitable approach for you.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
