About me
At the heart of my practice is the belief that each individual, given the right environment, is capable of achieving personal growth, living their lives in a way that feels authentic to them.
As a person-centred counsellor, my role is to create space where you can come as you are — unfiltered — sharing parts of yourself that might be difficult to share elsewhere, whether they feel messy, lost, vulnerable, or anything in between.
You may initially come to therapy feeling unsure, troubled or stuck, but it is my hope that during our time together, you will feel more secure and grounded in who you are and the choices you make along the way.
How Therapy Can Help
Counselling is your time to explore whatever is going on for you at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Whether you’re experiencing difficulties in your relationship or having self-esteem issues, I will be there alongside you, providing compassion, care and acceptance, whilst supporting you in reconnecting with your sense of self.
I offer both in-person and online sessions on a long or short-term basis (depending on which is preferable for you).
If you are considering counselling, I’d be happy to arrange an initial consultation to see if we would be a good fit.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have a postgraduate certificate (level 7) in counselling skills as well as a level 4 diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have experience working with young people and adults with various issues such as education, common mental health issues, self-worth/self-esteem, and relationship issues.
I have also worked for a sexual health service in Hillingdon as a Lead Programme Delivery Counsellor, working with young people and supporting them through some of the following issues:
Adapting to new cultures/environments, family dynamics, as well as the exploration of traumatic events.
Additionally, I have experience working with young people in the leaving care system, supporting them in the exploration of unresolved issues such as abandonment , lack of stability and other negative experiences linked to their childhood that have impacted their ability to navigate adult life and the challenges that come with it.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
