About me
I am a UKCP-accredited and registered Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples and families.
I offer a warm, relational and thoughtful space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on for you and your family.
I have over 26 years’ experience across mental health, social work, safeguarding and systemic therapy. I hold a BA in Psychology, an MA in Social Work, and an MSc in Systemic Family and Couple Psychotherapy. Alongside my private practice, I work as a Highly Specialist Systemic Family Therapist within NHS CAMHS.
I specialise in working with parents and families, particularly where there are experiences of autism, ADHD, emotional distress or relational difficulties. I understand that parenting can feel overwhelming at times, especially when your child’s needs are complex or not fully understood by others.
Alongside this, I also work with individuals and couples experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout and eating-related challenges. These experiences can feel isolating and difficult to manage alone, and I offer a space where they can be explored at your pace, without judgement.
My approach is warm, collaborative and culturally sensitive. I draw on systemic, narrative and structural ideas, working integratively to meet your unique needs. As a systemic practitioner, I consider the wider context of your life - including relationships, family dynamics, culture and the pressures you may be carrying.
My focus is on strengthening relationships, reducing distress, and helping you move towards your preferred future at a pace that feels manageable and right for you.
Sessions can provide space to:
- Reflect on your experiences as an individual, partner or parent
- Better understand your child’s needs and behaviours
- Explore relationship patterns within your family or couple relationship
- Work through feelings of anxiety, low mood or overwhelm
- Think about changes that feel possible and sustainable
- I offer both short-term and longer-term work depending on your needs.
Alongside my professional role, I am also a mother of four, including twins, which gives me a personal understanding of the complexities, pressures and realities of family life.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
