About me
Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed? If you feel that life is becoming unmanageable and you cannot find a way forward, therapy can help you work through the difficulties and give you your life back.
Do you feel as if those close to you don’t understand, leaving you feeling sad, lonely and maybe depressed? Whether this is an ongoing issue or due to a specific event, counselling can help you to make sense of your situation and help you to transform your relationships and live a more joyful life.
When life is difficult or throws us challenges, we can experience feelings of frustration and anger which can prevent us from finding our way forward. It’s like being lost in a deep, dark forest and however hard you try you simply cannot find your way out. Counselling will guide you out on the path that is right for you.
In counselling sessions, you will:
· Talk through the issues that you face without any fear of judgement
· Learn how to recognise what is causing the stress, the underlying reasons for it and find a way forward
· Develop coping strategies for the various challenges that life presents giving you hope and confidence for the future
I work with individuals who are feeling stuck in their current life situation whether it be relationships, work, addiction, grief or any number of reasons. I help them to regain their self-esteem and self-worth so that their lives feel meaningful and joyful.
It’s completely normal to feel apprehensive about starting therapy. My aim is to put you at ease from the start by creating a comfortable and supportive space where you feel safe to explore what’s on your mind and gain the insight needed to make improvements in your life giving you greater satisfaction and direction.
Previous clients have told me that therapy has helped them find solutions where they had previously thought there were none. They have experienced improved relationships with those around them and have a happier and more fulfilling life.
Please get in touch to book an introductory call to see if I can be of help to you. I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
