About me

Are you feeling disconnected, angry, hurt, or tired, and finding it hard to keep day-to-day life moving? Life doesn't have to feel this way, and you don’t have to face this alone.  Together, we’ll explore what’s happening beneath the surface, untangle what feels confusing, and help you find balance, clarity and hope.

We will work together to understand what has happened so the grief, heartbreak, or uncertainty no longer controls your day. Over time, people often find they sleep better, think more clearly, feel emotionally present with family and friends, and can begin to reconnect with life again.

Common challenges I help with :

  • Anxiety, stress, or feeling overwhelmed
  • Low self-esteem or self-worth
  • Going through life changes or transitions
  • Feeling stuck or uneasy without knowing why
  • Grief, loss, and bereavement
  • Searching for a deeper sense of direction

How we work together :

In our sessions, you’ll experience a calm space, giving you the freedom to explore in your way. I won’t tell you what to do; instead, I’ll help you connect with your own inner wisdom and personal power so change comes from within, and feels authentic, sustainable, and truly your own.

When words fall short, creative methods can offer another way to explore what’s going on, only if it feels helpful to you. You don’t need to be an artist, just being present and being yourself is enough.

Everyone is totally unique, but having a structure can help make sense of your journey:

  • See.    Notice what’s affecting you
  • Feel    Make sense of your emotions and experiences
  • Grow  Discover ways to move toward the life you want
  • Root    Embed your insights and growth so they last

Whatever brings you here, it matters. You don’t need to know what to say or how counselling works, we can start wherever you are, at your pace.

Contacting someone you don’t know can feel difficult, and it’s very natural to feel unsure if counselling will help.  I offer a free 20 minute introductory call, and we can decide together if we’re the right fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
