About me
I am a qualified Counsellor and Accredited Registrant with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.). I provide a warm, non-judgemental, and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is person-centred and integrative, meaning I tailor each session to your individual needs. I have experience supporting clients with anxiety, low mood, stress, self-esteem issues, and relationship or family challenges. I believe that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to heal and grow.
Together, we’ll work to build understanding, develop coping strategies, and help you move toward greater emotional wellbeing and balance. I offer remote sessions via secure video or telephone, with flexible hours including evenings, to make therapy accessible and convenient.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Diploma in Counselling and Therapeutic Practice and am an Accredited Registrant (MNCPS Acc.) with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS).
My training covered a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred therapy, CBT techniques, and psychodynamic principles, allowing me to work integratively to meet each client’s needs. As part of my qualification, I completed a school counselling placement at Beal High School, where I provided one-to-one support to young people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and emotional or behavioural difficulties.
Alongside my counselling work, I have several years of experience in the NHS 111 service, where I developed strong skills in communication, risk assessment, and supporting individuals in distressing or crisis situations.
I regularly attend supervision and continued professional development (CPD) training to ensure my practice remains ethical, reflective, and in line with current professional standards.
