About me
I am a qualified Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and a Certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner, registered with British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists. I hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck University of London, as well as a Master’s degree in Psychology of Child Development from University Putra Malaysia.
I offer both play-based therapy and talk therapy for children and young people, drawing on a psychodynamic approach. My work is guided by regular clinical supervision and the ethical standards of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I try to understand the inner world of each child—the thoughts, feelings, and conflicts that may not always be easy to express. Children often communicate their emotions and experiences through play, and as they grow, through words and conversation. I use these expressions as a way to help them explore their feelings, make sense of their experiences, and work through emotional challenges.
My aim is to create a safe and trusting space where children and young people feel seen, heard, and understood. I support them in navigating difficulties such as anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation challenges, trauma, and issues at home or school. With over 6 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families across various settings, I am committed to providing compassionate, developmentally attuned support that helps each child better understand themselves and their relationships with others.
