About me
Welcome.
You may be here because you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or struggling with the impact of past experiences. Perhaps you're finding yourself overthinking, doubting yourself, or repeating patterns in relationships that leave you feeling emotionally exhausted. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.
I am a BACP Registered Integrative Counsellor offering online counselling for adults across the UK. I provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and explore whatever is important to you at your own pace.
My approach is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming. I believe that our thoughts, emotions and behaviours often make sense in the context of what we have experienced, and that healing begins when we feel safe enough to understand ourselves with compassion rather than criticism.
Drawing on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Gestalt approaches, I tailor therapy to your individual needs. Where appropriate, I may also incorporate practical techniques such as grounding, mindfulness and nervous system regulation to help you feel calmer and more connected to yourself.
I have a particular interest in supporting adults experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, the effects of trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to ADHD or autism. My aim is not only to support you during our sessions but also to help you build the confidence and skills to support yourself beyond therapy.
I currently offer online counselling, making it easier to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
If you're wondering whether counselling is right for you, you're welcome to get in touch. I'd be happy to answer any questions and help you decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework and am committed to providing a safe, ethical and compassionate counselling service.
I completed my professional counselling training through a BACP-accredited programme, where I developed an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Gestalt approaches. This enables me to tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that every person's experiences, needs and goals are unique.
Alongside my professional training, I have experience supporting adult clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief and loss, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
I regularly undertake continuing professional development (CPD) to deepen my knowledge and skills. My additional training includes trauma-informed practice, online counselling, working with suicidal clients, supporting clients experiencing bipolar disorder, and working with addiction.
Alongside my professional training, I also bring lived experience of overcoming significant adversity. While my counselling is always grounded in professional ethics and evidence-based practice, my personal journey has deepened my empathy, compassion and understanding of the courage it takes to seek support and create lasting change.
I receive regular clinical supervision, am fully insured, and remain committed to ongoing learning and reflective practice to ensure I provide the highest standard of care for my clients.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
My standard fee is £65 for a 50-minute counselling session.
I believe that therapy should be as accessible as possible, so I offer a limited number of concessionary spaces at a reduced fee for students, single parents, disabled clients and those on a low income, subject to availability.
If cost is a concern, please feel free to get in touch to discuss whether a concessionary space is currently available.
Further information
I offer counselling in English, Urdu and Mirpuri, allowing clients to express themselves in the language they feel most comfortable using. I understand that language and culture can play an important role in therapy, and I aim to provide a respectful and culturally sensitive space where clients feel heard and understood.
I also hold interpreting qualifications, which have further developed my communication skills and understanding of the importance of accurate, sensitive communication across different languages and cultures.
