About me
I'm an Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with over 20 years of experience supporting people through some of life’s toughest moments. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in low mood, coping with loss or trauma, or facing challenges in your relationships, you don’t have to go through it alone. I'm here to walk alongside you, offering a space where you can breathe, talk openly, and feel genuinely heard.
My approach is all about you—your needs, your pace, and what feels right for you. I work in a warm, down-to-earth way, creating a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s going on and start to feel more like yourself again.
How I can support you
Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, families, and organisations, offering help with things like:
- Anxiety and generalised anxiety disorder
- Depression and low mood
- Grief and loss
- Trauma and emotional overwhelm
- Relationship struggles and communication issues
- Life-changing diagnoses, including cancer support (Macmillan) and end-of-life care
- I also offer couples counselling to help you reconnect, improve communication, and strengthen your relationship—whether you’re navigating a rough patch or simply want to deepen your connection.
I am trained as a trauma-informed counsellor and bring a compassionate, client-centred approach to my work, creating a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their experiences. I also have specialist experience working with ex-offenders at Kirkham Prison, supporting rehabilitation, personal growth, and emotional resilience. Whether you're facing a specific life challenge or looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Supervision and professional support
Alongside therapy, I provide clinical supervision to counsellors and mental health professionals. My supervision style is supportive, collaborative, and reflective—I’m here to help you grow in confidence, look after your own well-being, and navigate your client work with care and integrity.
I also offer training, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) sessions, and workplace wellbeing support for businesses and organisations that want to create healthier, more emotionally aware environments.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and finding the right therapist really matters. I’m always happy to have an informal chat so you can get a feel for how I work and ask any questions you might have—no pressure, just a friendly conversation.
If something in this speaks to you, I’d love to hear from you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
