About me
Hi, I’m Sarah. I’ve been providing counselling and psychotherapy since 2012, bringing over 15 years of experience to our sessions.
I truly believe that therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, so I always tailor our time together to meet your unique needs. My goal is to offer you a safe, gentle, and completely non-judgmental space where we can explore things and gain clarity together.
Counselling is actually my second career! Before starting my private practice and becoming a mum, I spent years in the corporate world working as a project management PA and in behavioural market research. This background gives me a really grounded, real-world understanding of the unique pressures and hectic schedules so many of my clients face.
Life can catch us off guard sometimes. You might suddenly find yourself facing hurdles that feel completely overwhelming and out of your control. It is incredibly common to feel confused, vulnerable, or just plain stuck during these times. When feelings are hard to untangle, they can naturally start to impact our day-to-day behavior and our relationships with the people around us.
I am here to offer you a confidential, peaceful space to talk about whatever is on your mind. We can softly explore the areas of your life that feel painful, confusing, or heavy. As a fully trained therapist, I will use my knowledge and experience to make sure you feel truly heard, valued, and understood.
Together, we will look at both your current daily struggles and past experiences to help you find peace in your personal world.
Neurodiversity & Adolescent Support
When working with young adolescents and neurodivergent individuals, my focus shifts from fixing pathologies to affirming natural neurological variations and unique cognitive profiles. I closely consider each young person's psychological growth, ongoing changes, and capacity for self-reflection as they navigate current issues and develop valuable coping strategies. By abandoning neurotypical assumptions, adapting the environment for sensory comfort, and using explicit communication, I provide a collaborative space to dismantle internalised ableism and support authentic self-advocacy. This work helps clients heal from navigating an inflexible world, and when working with young people, often involves close collaboration and reporting with various private and public care agencies.
Relational Therapy
Relational therapy looks to improve communication and resolve issues within an intimate relationship. We will work on understanding how external factors, family, and lifestyle affect your connection, especially if you find it difficult to resolve conflict and move forward.
Corporate & Occupational Health
In addition to my private practice, I have extensive experience working with large corporate occupational health services and external agencies. Through these partnerships, I provide dedicated therapeutic support for both public and private sector clients navigating workplace stress, burnout, and mental health challenges.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
