About me

Hello there! I'm Sarah, and I'm here for you. As a pluralistic counsellor based in Reading, Berkshire, I'm dedicated to providing support and understanding for adults and young adults aged 16+. Whether you prefer in-person counselling at the Cherry Tree Centre in Henley-On-Thames or online/telephone sessions to fit your busy schedule, I'm here to help. My expertise lies in bereavement and anxiety counselling, and I also offer compassionate support for work-related and social depression, chronic illness, family issues, stress, and loneliness. I know that reaching out for help can feel daunting, but I'm here to guide you with care and help you learn coping strategies for everyday life at your own pace. Before becoming a counsellor, I dedicated seven years to working in education, supporting children's emotional well-being and academic growth to help them realize their full potential. I deeply understand that each person is unique and has specific needs, preferences, and goals in therapy. Embracing this idea, I will work closely with you to co-create a personalized treatment plan that integrates various therapeutic techniques. It's important to me that your therapeutic journey aligns with your values, preferences, and cultural background, empowering you every step of the way.
