About me
Life can feel overwhelming at times and we all experience difficulties, this is even more so with ongoing effects of Covid 19. Have you been feeling sad, anxious or depressed? Sometimes talking can help. For many, counselling can provide a way of moving forward and overcoming life's challenges.
As a qualified Person-Centred counsellor I provide a safe and empathetic space, where together we can explore any issues at your own pace, enabling you to make the decisions that are right for you.
Life can feel lonely, especially if a relationship is experiencing troubles. Talking these difficulties through with an impartial and non judgemental counsellor may help to bring a sense of understanding. I offer sessions to both individuals and also couples on a short or long term basis, depending on your needs.
Face to face counselling may appear daunting to some. However, Walk & Talk therapy in the open air can provide a more relaxing experience. For some individuals walking side by side can be a beneficial alternative to face to face counselling.
I offer a free 30 minute telephone consultation where we can discuss your needs and you can ask any questions you may have.
Please call or email to book a consultation or for information.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
