About me

I am a fully Accredited and Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP) and a UK registered Counsellor (UKRC). I am also an Accredited iMA Life Coach Practitioner.

I undertake a variety of work from short to long term therapy. Sessions depend upon the requirements of my clients. I am also a Physchological Needs Practitioner in an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provided by a major UK insurer.

I have been in private practice and receiving GP surgery referrals since 2002.

I am also on the Commissioning GP register.

Over the years I have worked within a variety of business sectors. I owned/managed my own business ‘Health on the Park’. I was a Business Development Consultant for Estée Lauder and a recruitment consultant/team leader in London.

iMA Life Coaching

iMA is a universal colour based language, which is designed to help people communicate more effectively and optimise connectivity at every level of their lives.

iMA gets to the heart of what makes you tick, by identifying your strengths, adapting your weaknesses, & being able to recognise all four personality traits.

If you want to improve communication at work or home, then the iMA Coaching is a great way to acheive this.

I am a qualified iMA Practitioner and I am trained to help individuals and companies bridge the gap between the differences in people, and connect with others on their wavelength using the universal language of iMA.

People who connect with others prosper. Those that don’t Struggle.

Later on I was a counsellor for Mind MK, Road Victims Trust, a Counselling Co-ordinator for Youth Information Services and a lecturer in Counselling at Bedford College.

There are a variety of services available to individuals, couples, family groups, young people, small businesses, & corporate workshops. Whatever is discussed on any session is absolutely confidential. There are however some exceptions to this statement which I will discuss with you before we begin. At no time would I ever disclose any information without discussing it thoroughly with you first.

As an Accredited Registered Member of the BACP and UKRCP I have regular supervision which is for the benefit of both my clients and myself. During supervision I may share parts of my casework, but the identity of my clients is kept strictly confidential at all times.

Psychotherapy & Counselling can help you see things with more clarity, it often helps to reduce confusion and enables you to make choices. As an integrative psychotherapist/counsellor I can help. iMA is a universal colour based language, which is designed to help people communicate more effectively and optimise connectivity at every level of their lives

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
