Counselling can help individuals to understand themselves better, to alleviate distress and create a different future. I am committed to providing counselling in safe , supportive, confidential and non-judgemental environment. Together we will explore your thoughts and feelings and work together to find a different way of being and moving your life forward.
How I work
I am a BUPA registered and Accredited integrative counsellor/psychotherapist working in the Farnham area I offer a flexible approach, incorporating aspects and tools from a number of different theoretical approaches aimed at meeting your individual needs.
I believe that strength comes from within and we all have the ability to change given the right conditions and motivation. At times life is hard and we can lose our way, this is where counselling can help by offering scope for change, personal acceptance or a different perspective.
I have worked in the Financial Services sector for 15 years developing and counselling management and staff at all levels. I have supported and assisted staff during, and at risk of redundancy, enbling them to find new direction in their personal and professional lives.
Due to my business background, I have an understanding and personal experience of the pressure and stresses of working in these types of environment.
In addition to my private practice I have volunteered on a 24hr support line for men and women experiencing domestic abuse.
I also work as a mentor for Surrey County Council and privatley, offering support to children and young people who are struggling with different aspects of their lives, whether that is relationships, school or emotional issues.
