About me

Have you been through something painful or overwhelming that has left a lasting mark? It may have been a single moment - an accident, an assault, something that happened suddenly and changed everything. Or it may have unfolded over time: a childhood that didn't feel safe, or a workplace that was undermining, humiliating, or unpredictable. These experiences may have contributed to you feeling anxious, low in mood, mistrustful, or self-critical - and may have affected your relationships, confidence, or your sense of who you are.

If this resonates, you are not alone - and you are in the right place. My primary approaches are EMDR and Schema Therapy - two evidence-based approaches that help you make sense of and process your experiences. My approach is non-judgmental and tailored to help you regain safety, confidence, clarity, and strength. Please get in touch for a free consultation.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a registered and chartered Psychologist, as well as a chartered Schema Therapist and EMDR therapist, with over 15 years of experience supporting people through trauma and mental health challenges- including childhood and relational trauma, and distressing or traumatic experiences in adulthood, such as those that occur in the workplace.

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
