About me

Hi, I’m Sara Douglas, an integrative counsellor. I work with individuals who are feeling overwhelmed by life, whether it’s everyday stress, burnout, postnatal depression or anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions, and who are looking for support, clarity, and a way forward. My approach is warm, compassionate, and grounded in helping you understand yourself more deeply so that you can feel calmer, more confident, and more connected in everyday life. I believe therapy is a space to be truly heard without judgement, a place where we can explore what’s beneath the surface and find new ways forward.

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether we connect in person, online, or by phone, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can pause, breathe, and feel truly heard. Together, we’ll work toward building resilience, cultivating self-compassion, and helping you feel more balanced and grounded.

A bit about me: It was my own experience with stress, anxiety, overwhelm, and grief that inspired my path into counselling. I understand how emotional struggles can impact daily life, relationships, and our sense of control. Therapy can help you reconnect with yourself, feel more grounded, and move forward with greater calm and clarity.
