About me
Are you struggling at the moment, are you feeling anxious, low, lost or alone? Maybe you feel stuck, or overwhelmed by your thoughts and feelings? Or, perhaps you have noticed a pattern in your life and you are asking yourself what is going on, or why this keeps happening. Perhaps there have been some big or life changing events that you are finding tough to navigate, or maybe you want to make a change, and don't know where to start.
Counselling is a talking therapy, that can help you to explore these things within the comfort of a safe space with a trusted professional.
Counselling is helpful for things like anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, communication, relationships challenges and breakdown (partners, family, friends), loss and bereavement, life changes, loneliness, isolation, difficult thoughts and feelings, and overwhelm.
I often hear that it can feel easier to open up to a stranger, and as a qualified counsellor I provide a safe confidential space where we will work together at your pace, and without judgement.
I often get asked if I give advice, and because you are unique, I will not tell you what to do, but I will support you in finding your own way forward. Sometimes I may offer insights and psycho-education about what makes us humans tick as well as sign post to practical resources that may support you.
My counselling room is in Crowthorne, and I also offer walk and talk in the local area, as well as being able to work online. My practice, Therapy with Flo, is open on Mondays and Thursdays.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
