About me
Sometimes life becomes overwhelming. Feelings take hold, exhaustion, disconnection and burnout. The relationship with yourself or others start to feel like hard work.
Therapy is about self-awareness and growth through compassion, understanding and through the relationship you have with yourself and the people around you. It might mean processing the past in order to make sense of the present. It might mean exploring how you connect with the people in your life in intimate relationships, friendships, family, or work.
Together we'll look at how different environments and experiences have shaped you, and how they're showing up for you now. The goal isn't to fix you, it's to help you gain awareness, find meaning, and make the changes that matter to you.
I'll work with you in a space that feels safe, collaborative, and genuinely yours.
How I work
As an integrative counsellor, I believe in creating a unique, collaborative space that honours each client's individuality. Drawing from CBT, Person-Centred Approach, and Psychodynamic theories, I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals.
Using the Skilled Helper Model, we will explore your current situation, identify your desired outcomes, and work together to implement meaningful change. I see therapy as an organic, creative process - we'll navigate this journey together, with you leading the way.
The therapeutic relationship is central to this process. I bring myself into the relationship authentically and offer skills and approaches to support and nurture your growth. I aim to empower you to find your own path forward in a space that feels safe, supportive, and truly collaborative.
My Experience
My approach is informed by a 15-year career within the creative industries, where I managed teams and navigated the unique pressures of fast-paced, high-stakes environments. This background gives me a deep appreciation for the creative process and its use in therapy (being curious, open to explore and navigating new possibilities).
I am committed to inclusive practice and have experience and training in supporting neurodivergent individuals and the LGBTQ+ community.
Having personally navigated therapy for anxiety and work-related pressures, I understand what it feels like to sit in the "client’s chair." I draw on my lived experience and how I have navigated life challenges and difficult times.
Focus areas
I have a particular interest in working with:
- Anxiety and worry: managing overwhelming thoughts, finding calm and emotional regulation.
- Work burnout and career issues: navigating stress, finding fulfilment, and achieving balance. With experience in both corporate large organisations and small businesses, I understand the unique challenges of each environment – from managing office politics and bureaucracy to adapting to limited resources and wearing multiple hats. We can explore strategies for managing workload, setting boundaries, and developing a career path that aligns with your values.
- Relationship issues: improving communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger connections
- Neurodiversity: working with neurodiverse individuals, embracing neuro-affirming approaches, and supporting clients in both personal and professional contexts. I have experience working in neuro-affirming environments and can adapt my approach to suit your needs.
Working with Creatives and Freelancers
I understand the unique challenges of creative and freelance work – the unpredictability, the self-doubt, and the blurred lines between work and life. I'm flexible and accommodating, offering appointments to fit around your schedule. Whether you're struggling with creative blocks, self-promotion, or work-life balance, we can work together to find ways to nurture your creativity and sustain your well-being.
Getting Started
I understand that starting counselling can be daunting. To help you feel more at ease, I offer a free 15-minute online or phone call to chat about what brings you here and see if we're a good fit. No pressure, just a chance to get to know me and explore how I can support you.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
