Are you struggling at the moment, then contact me to discuss your needs and see if talking therapy can help.  Experienced with working with a wide range of issues with clients ages 13 - 70+.

I am able to work with you and your problems, using a range of coping strategies, talking therapy helps you find your own answers, without judgement and bias.  Having experience with various issues including, bereavement, loss, relationship breakdown, stress & anxiety, employment issues, family problems, bullying, low self esteem, low mood, SAD and depression.

Fully qualified and work within the BACP ethical framework.

I have a comfortable space for you to feel safe and explore your issues, where you will not be judged, not told what to do, offered coping strategies and ways of finding your own personal answers.

Based in rural Shropshire close to the Powys border, you will need to have your own transport to access appointments.  With ample off road parking in a quite location, where you will have the opportunity to confidentially talk about your issues and find your own unique solutions.  Please note that I have dogs and cats and whilst these are not allowed in the counselling room, please consider this if you have allergies.

Registered with the BACP 355217 and as such I always work ethically in line with their Ethical Code of Conduct.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Additional information

£35.00 per 50 minute session for individuals

£40.00 per hour session for couples

£40.00 Supervision rate for 1 1/2 hours

Reduced rates for counselling students by arrangement.

A limited number of sessions are available at reduced rates for those on low income.

Payments to be made on the day of the appointment and can be paid by cash or cheque.

Failure to provide 24 hours notice of cancellation will incur a 50% session fee

Able to offer a 1/2 hour free consultation to discuss your individual needs.

I offer a bespoke range of interventions, coping strategies and theories to help with a variety of issues and what is troubling you.

Following an initial telephone conversation to discuss your needs, I am able to offer a free 1/2 hour consultation to see if we are able to work together.

I can offer weekly / fortnightly sessions, these are face to face appointments. Week day evenings, Wednesday day time and Saturday morning appointments available.  There is no limit to the number of sessions, providing that therapy is taking place.
