I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor, with training in other areas including Certificate in CBT, Children & Young People and Couples Counselling. I have experience working with a wide range of ages from 13 to 70+ with various issues including, bereavement, loss, relationship breakdown, stress & anxiety, employment issues, family problems, bullying, low self esteem, low mood, SAD and depression.
I use some CBT task and resources, which may include work to be completed between sessions, these are discussed and agreed on an individual basis
Having worked in Social Housing initially, Supporting People role & Education of teenagers, I have experience of working with a wide age group and understand the issues people face on a day to day basis.
Experience of working within a charity counselling services having worked with a wide range of presenting issues, over short and long term periods.
Able to offer a comfortable space to feel safe and explore your issues, where you will not be judged, not told what to do, offered coping strategies and ways of finding your own personal answers.
Based in rural Shropshire close to the Powys border, you will need to have your own transport to access appointments. With ample off road parking in a quite location, where you will have the opportunity to confidentially talk about your issues and find your own unique solutions. Please note that I have dogs and cats and whilst these are not allowed in the counselling room, please consider this if you have allergies.
Registered with the BACP 355217 and as such I always work ethically in line with their Ethical Code of Conduct.

£35.00 per 50 minute session for individuals
£40.00 per hour session for couples
Reduced rates for counselling students by arrangement.
A limited number of sessions are available at reduced rates for those on low income.
Payments to be made on the day of the appointment and can be paid by cash or cheque.
Cancellation policy will be discussed and agreed in the contract at the initial face to face meeting.
Able to offer a 1/2 free consultation to discuss your individual needs.

Able to offer, initial telephone conversations to discuss your needs, Free 1/2 hour consultation. I have face to face weekly appointments, unlimited number of sessions (providing therapy is taking place), day and evening appointments available.
