Hi. I am a Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor. This enables me to draw from a variety of skills & knowledge base which best suits your needs. I offer counselling sessions to adults and teenagers 16+ years on the Mansfield/Notts/Derbyshire borders.

I am a warm, caring, non-judgemental therapist offering a safe confidential space to speak your unspeakable.  I ensure you feel listened to, understood and accepted without conditions. Ultimately sensing your own clarity, self-empowerment and freedom where you make no excuses for being you in this world.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy.
  • Foundation: Counselling.
  • Diploma Advanced CBT and PTSD
  • CPD/Level 2: Creative Therapy, Therapy with Children and Young People, Trauma and safety stabilisation. Dissociation and working with child abuse.  Working with Men in relational depth.

My work experience is with domestic abuse and sexual violence. College counsellor 16+ years.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.


From £40.00 to £55.00

Additional information

Sessions are 50 minutes in duration and I offer:

Online/video call therapy through Zoom Skype or Whatsapp which cost £40 per session.

Face to Face therapy is £45 per session.

Appointments times range from 9am to 7.30 pm Monday to Thursday. 

Further information

I work Monday to Thursday 9am to 8.30pm (last appointment is 7.30pm).

Face to face sessions are £45 for 50 mins to 1 hour.

Video or telephone call is also available at £40 per session.

I do hold one appointment on a Saturday morning at £55 per hour.

The first initial session is by zoom, skype or telephone for 40mins costing £20.

Due to my own work history I offer concessions to Emergency Services, NHS,  Armed Forces (including retired or ex-personnel) and Students.
