About me
I work in a safe space where my clients can learn to understand their thought processes and why they feel the way that they do. I then use psychological models, my training and experience to tailor strategies for each individual to help that person to work towards his/her goals for personal change, growth and self-development. My work is goal-oriented and is evidence-based. I employ personalised techniques that enable clients to understand what blocks them from reaching their potential, and then help them to achieve the life that they want for themselves. My experience thus enables me to work flexibly/empathically & ethically sound.
I adopt a collaborative and empathetic approach when working with people, and develop an individualised, tailor-made approach to understanding each client’s specific difficulties. I have been trained in a number of specialist psychological models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic approaches, and Compassion Focused Therapy.
With over 10 years of experience working as a clinician in the NHS and in private practice, I believe in listening with an open mind to understand each of my client's situations and to understand how I can best help my clients to overcome their difficulties. In concluding work with me, clients report having increased levels of confidence and self-esteem.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
