Ruth Benson MBACP
I am an NHS counsellor working for Salford Primary Care Psychology Service. I am able to offer confidential and supportive, counselling to private clients from my comfortable Counselling rooms in Hale, near Altrincham and also in Prestwich in North Manchester.
Many of my clients see me for help with depression and anxiety, bereavement and loss issues, relationship problems or work place stress. As a professional counsellor, I am trained to offer you a safe, supportive and confidential space where I can help you deal with the issues you wish to work on.
With over twelve years' of continuous post qualifying counselling experience, I have developed a style of counselling which, I am told, offers a high level of warmth and support. My role is not to judge you, but to work closely with you whether that involves relaxation techniques to help with anxiety or to employ more creative methods to tackle specific problems. My counselling is easily tailored to your individual needs and goals.
As a therapist, I wish to help all clients learn to cope more effectively with life’s dramas, stresses and strains. It is my aim to help every client to find more fulfillment, contentment and peace in their lives.
If you would like to have an informal chat about my work or to ask me any questions, please feel free to call me or e mail me and I will try and reply as soon as possible. 07967 752790
