About me
Person-Centred Counsellor (MBACP) | Young People & Adults
Are you feeling that no one understands what you’re experiencing or really listens to what you’re going through? Do you feel lost or misunderstood? Do you have concerns for your teenage child who may be experiencing difficult times?
I offer a tailored, non-judgemental approach to counselling, grounded in the person-centred philosophy of empathy, authenticity, and respect. Working with both young people and adults, I create a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly heard and understood.
With over four years’ experience supporting young people from traumatic backgrounds, including those who have left the care system, I bring a deep understanding of the emotional complexities that can arise from disrupted attachments, loss, and instability. I also work with young people in educational settings, helping them manage academic pressure, social anxiety, and identity-related challenges. My approach is sensitive to the developmental needs of adolescents and rooted in building trust, emotional safety, and resilience.
My practice is informed by real-life experience of adversity, allowing me to connect with clients from a place of genuine empathy and insight. I support individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, anger management, bereavement, trauma, low self-esteem, identity, and relationship issues, by helping them explore their emotions, build resilience, and move toward personal growth.
I also offer dedicated life coaching. I’m passionate about helping people transform not just their mindset but their lifestyle too. My approach blends mental and physical well-being with personal development, empowering you to build strength, confidence, and clarity, inside and out.
Whether you're looking to improve your health, set meaningful goals, or navigate life’s challenges, I offer tailored support to help you move forward with purpose. Together, we can create a plan that fits your unique journey and helps you thrive.
Sessions are client-led, confidential, and adapted to meet each person’s unique needs.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
