About me
Hi,
If you are suffering at the moment, either with stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem or anything else that’s effecting the way your feeling, then one to one therapy can really help you to maintain what you are experiencing and help you move forward in your life, at this difficult time.
I am a Humanistic Person-Centred Therapist, which means the foundation of my work is built on trust and openness.
I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, that you may be finding difficult to cope with at this moment in time.
I do not lead the subject matter of the session, I feel it is important for you to talk about what you want, when you want. I feel this style of therapy really enables you to gain control, not just of what you are saying but of what you are feeling and in turn will help you towards gaining control of your life once again.
To be within a space where you are being heard and recieving empathy, without judgment is so important. To be listened to and not judged sadly is something that doesn't happen very often in our busy lives.
I have experience in working with adults and young people alike. There are other styles of therapy that I have had training in and I will adopt aspects of these to work with your specific needs and issues that you present to me.
If you would like to contact me for an initial meeting, you can do so by phone or email.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
