About me

I would like you to pick up the phone or write me a message if you want to talk to someone who cares, if you want to feel better and to be thinking clearer. I know from experience how counselling can help and it means a lot to me to be able to offer my clients a relationship that will change their lives for the better.

I work collaboratively with my clients to help them get what they want from the sessions be it in short term or longer term therapy. So if you are feeling low, anxious or stressed, if you want to make a change in your life, if you want help coping or if you just want someone to talk to and someone to listen, please do get in touch in whatever way is easiest for you. I will be happy to have a chat with you and answer any questions that you might have before you decide if you would like to arrange an initial session or a telephone consultation.

I work with a wide variety of issues (listed below) and have additional specialist experience of working with young people (12+) and those with mental health issues.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
