About me

I strongly believe that counselling should be both affordable and effective.

As a professionally qualified counsellor, who works in a motivational and sometimes challenging style I help you to find acceptance of your past, face challenges in the present and make the changes necessary to look forward to the future.

The format I use is ideal for short-term counselling, to help you cope with the unexpected and keep the wheels turning; but this does not mean that we ignore the past - after all, it is what made us who we are.

We work together to find hidden triggers, self-awareness, and balance in a non-judgmental, confidential setting.

I offer in Face to Face, WhatsApp, Zoom and FaceTime appointments.

Additional information

I work from home in a purpose-built practise room in Haddenham; this allows me to offer counselling at reasonable rates, as I believe that counselling should be affordable.

Weekdays; beginning at 10.00 am my last appointment begins at 5.300pm.
Weekends; beginning at 11.00am my last appointment is at 5.00pm.

Individual Sessions: The initial half hour session is free, we decide whether we can work together (we have to trust, and respect each other), I charge nothing - it's free.

Sessions thereafter I charge at £60 per hour, or £80 for an hour and a half, committing to 6 sessions will be charged at 5 sessions.

The longer session can facilitate working at a greater depth, reduce the number of appointments needed and be better value.

Couples sessions: Experience has shown me that in order for both parties to feel equally heard a 90 minute session works best, this allows us to work with progress. I charge £90 for the session.

CHARGES: The assessment session of ½ an hour is free and has no commitment, thereafter I charge £50.00 per hour, £70.00 for 90 minutes, sometimes I will recommend the longer session, couples are charged at £80.00 for 90 minutes.

Should our session exceed the planned appointment time I reserve the right to make an additional charge. For individuals I offer the 6 sessions for the price of 5 when booked and paid for up front. The charges may be higher if a report is required.

Key details

This is an old property and sadly has no wheelchair access, there are steps with a handrail but a rollator would prove difficult.
