About me

I am based in Chiswick W4, close to Kew Bridge. Due to Covid-19 I am mainly helping people online by Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp and telephone but I do offer face to face meetings in Hammersmith.  I am a BACP member with a focus on Schema Therapy  which heals relationship wounds and seeks to change and understand why you keep repeating negative cycles of behaviour.

I have a private practice in which I help individuals on a part time basis. I have experience working with clients; particularly in relationship difficulties, bereavement, jealousy, anger, panic attacks, anxiety and negative thoughts, phobias, suicidal thoughts, addictions, family concerns, post-natal depression, personality issues such as feeling sad, empty, low and isolated, depression, addictions, eating disorders and self esteem. I offer short term and long term counselling and psychotherapy.

Therapy sessions provide the time and space for you to have an honest conversation without judgement. My support will enable you to put down the mask you present in the outside world, and to be yourself, no more hiding or pretending. This will enable you to gain insight on what is happening in your life right now, how you got to here and what to do to create change in your life.

As we are currently experiencing a distressing time with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic which most of us have not experienced in our lifetime. I am here to support you if you are struggling with the isolation and anxiety that will be arising from the enforced self-isolation. This has impacted our experiences with family members and loved ones. At this difficult time I offer a supportive and caring role.

I am warm, caring and approachable. I can offer you the time you need to reflect, take stock and get to the source of your feelings and behaviour patterns.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
