About me

I am a CBT therapist offering online counselling at £50 per session, specialising in supporting neurodiverse clients, including ADHD and autism. I use a flexible, tailored approach drawing on CBT, ACT, and DBT to help you understand your thoughts, manage emotions, and create meaningful change.

Do you feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift? Perhaps you appear fine on the outside but feel exhausted underneath, or you’re unsure why life feels harder than it “should.” Therapy can help you make sense of what’s happening and give you practical tools to move forward with more confidence and clarity.

My approach is collaborative and tailored to you. While CBT forms the foundation of my work, I also use ACT and DBT skills to support emotional regulation, self-esteem, burnout, and relationship challenges. I provide a safe, compassionate space, while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

As a dyslexic therapist, I bring both professional training and lived experience to my work. I understand how overwhelming the world can feel when it isn’t designed for different ways of thinking, and I specialise in helping clients navigate these challenges effectively.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if it’s your first time. You don’t need to have all the answers, we can work through it together. If you’d like to explore how we might work, I’d be happy to hear from you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have been working with clients for five years, offering therapy that combines professional expertise with lived experience. I hold a Diploma in CBT counselling and have completed additional training in ACT and DBT, allowing me to tailor therapy to each client’s needs. I have a particular focus on supporting neurodiverse clients, including those with ADHD, autism, and dyslexia, drawing on my own experience as a dyslexic therapist to bring empathy, insight, and practical strategies to our work together.

Outside of therapy, I am a professional photographer, primarily working in weddings. My creative work and the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life have deepened my understanding of human behaviour, emotions, and relationships, all of which inform my approach in therapy. I am also deeply committed to charity work and activism, particularly supporting refugees, including time spent working in camps in northern France and Belgium. These experiences have strengthened my ability to listen, adapt, and hold space for people navigating significant challenges in their lives.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
