About me

Hello, I'm Rivka,

I have over 25 years of experience in the mental health field. I bring a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to my work as an integrative counsellor. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs, always working collaboratively and respectfully. My style is warm, grounded, and empathetic. I’m a thoughtful listener, here to support you through life’s challenges—whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, bereavement, family issues, social anxiety, or simply just feeling sad.

I have a particular interest in working with women’s issues, including low self-esteem, identity, life transitions, and the impact of past trauma. Whatever you’re going through, I aim to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

Making the first step on your healing journey is often the hardest, especially when you are dealing with issues such as anxiety, mental health issues, addiction,  low confidence or loss. So well done for getting here. Choosing a counsellor can be a daunting job. This is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation call, so you can decide if I am the right match for you. As an integrative counsellor, I consider your individual circumstances and needs. Using techniques from a person-centred approach, Gestalt therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy and with a basis of trauma-informed work. to guide and inform my work with you.

I am here to hear your story, to help you process, to support and guide you. To help you make decisions and choices that lead you to live the life you deserve.

"Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love." – Brené Brown

I’m a warm, compassionate counsellor who offers a safe, supportive space where you can speak freely and feel truly heard. Whatever you're facing—whether it's anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, stress, or simply feeling lost or overwhelmed—you don’t have to go through it alone.

My approach is gentle, down-to-earth, and tailored to your individual needs. I believe that real change happens when we feel safe enough to be ourselves, and supported enough to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.

If you're ready to take the first step, I offer a free initial phone call so we can get to know each other and see how I might support you. You're welcome just as you are.
