About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? You’re not alone. I provide a compassionate and safe space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and challenges. Whether you’re seeking therapy for personal growth, emotional healing, or are struggling with everyday life, I’m here to help. My aim is to help individuals navigate life’s difficulties, manage stress, and foster resilience. My approach is tailored to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to support your personal journey.
Having previously experienced challenges with my own mental health, I know how difficult or daunting it can be to reach out for help, especially for those who have never done so before. I have experienced first-hand how talking through issues in my own life has helped, and my aim is to provide you with a safe and welcoming environment to explore and reflect on your challenges and help make sense of your feelings.
I offer a free introductory call where we can chat about how I work and see if it feels like a good fit for you. It’s also a chance for me to understand how I can support you and for you to ask any questions about counselling before deciding if you'd like to go ahead with sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am trained and qualified as a Therapeutic Counsellor and focus on Person-Centred therapy. This means that I help you find your own solutions rather than giving you answers. I also use other approaches that could be better suited to help you reach the solution you are looking for.
Before becoming a counsellor, I fostered children through the local child services team and also have experience with the adoption process and navigating the years after the placement order has been granted.
Since I began my training, I have volunteered at a local school, counselling students on a weekly basis. I also offered online counselling as well as face-to-face sessions for a local charity. By volunteering in these ways, I have been able to develop my skills so that I can offer you a counselling solution that suits you best.

Further information
Clients present with a variety of issues, and my aim is to enable you to have a space where you can offload anything that is concerning you. Sessions are booked on a 6-week basis. In the first 6 weeks, you should be able to notice a change and see the benefits from counselling. As we approach the 4th or 5th week, we will review your progress and discuss how you wish to proceed after the 6th week.
