About me
Starting counselling can be a bit scary, but living with unresolved problems is probably much worse. I believe that conditions such as anxiety, feeling stuck, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and addictive behaviour signal that something is preventing us from thriving. Recognising something in your life that you want to change is the most crucial step. I offer safe, confidential online and face-to-face sessions in Bristol and London. I also offer walking therapy to existing clients, a fantastic way to achieve therapeutic results.
Through my therapy and business career, I've experienced a few of life's twists and turns.
Having encountered many people and situations, very little surprises me, and I approach every client with an open mind. I've helped elite sportspeople with anxiety and kept a calm head guiding high-performing individuals in business, TV, and music in their personal and professional lives. I also do voluntary work in prisons and have helped to bring about real change in people who have lost hope.
Every counselling relationship is unique, and I value each client's individuality when working together. I aim to empower people to grow safely, simply, and practically. Whether you need short-term, long-term, or open-ended support, I am here to help.
People often feel afraid that if they allow any of their emotions to surface, they’ll all rise up and never go back down again. This is a common fear that prevents many people from talking about how they feel or accessing therapy. However, there is a misconception about how you work through trauma in therapy. I will never ask you to bring up old wounds until I trust that you can manage those painful emotions safely. And one of the reasons that therapy takes time is that it’s not done all at once. Things are done at your own pace in a safe space and only when we both decide you are ready.
Together, we will set clear boundaries, explore past and present issues impacting your life, and discover a path to move forward.
It's good to talk.
