About me
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, and knowing where to start can feel just as difficult as the things you're struggling with. Perhaps you've been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck or low in confidence, or you may simply feel that things aren't quite right and you're not sure why.
I’m Regane, an integrative counsellor offering a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever you're experiencing. I believe counselling isn't a one-size-fits-all approach, so I tailor each session to your individual needs.
You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling, and you don't have to be at breaking point to ask for support. Sometimes having someone outside of your usual circle to talk to can help you make sense of what's going on, understand yourself more clearly and begin to feel more confident in moving forward.
I work with adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, overwhelm, relationship difficulties, low mood and life changes. I also have a particular passion for supporting children and young people, due to my own personal experiences. This has shaped the way I work today, with empathy, patience and a strong appreciation of how challenging it can feel to find your place in the world. I have extensive experience working across primary and secondary schools, supporting young people with a wide range of emotional difficulties and experiences.
My approach is centred around you. I'm not there to direct you, but to create space for you to explore what’s going on, build confidence, and find clarity in a way that feels safe and supportive.
If you’re considering counselling and would like to see whether we might be a good fit, I’m always happy to have a chat and answer any questions.
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling Professionals (BACP) and I work within accordance to their ethical principles.
A quick note: I always respond to enquiries by email. If you haven't received a response from me, please check your junk/spam folder, as emails can sometimes end up there.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
