About me

I’m a counsellor offering a warm, person‑centred approach, tailored to you and your unique story. I integrate person‑centred therapy with CBT and psychotherapy, so we can work in a way that feels supportive while also giving you practical tools and deeper understanding.

What I can help with

  • Bereavement and grief (my main area of specialism)
  • Child loss and pregnancy loss
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Depression and low mood
  • Addiction and recovery support

How I work

Person‑centred: You set the pace. I provide a compassionate, non‑judgemental space where your voice leads the work.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): We identify patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and build practical strategies to ease symptoms and improve day‑to‑day wellbeing.

Psychotherapy: We explore deeper roots of your struggles, past experiences, and relational patterns to support longer‑term change.

What to expect

  • A confidential, respectful space
  • Clear goals we agree together
  • Sessions that can flex between gentle exploration and skills‑based tools, depending on what you need that day
  • Bereavement support Grief is not one‑size‑fits‑all. Whether your loss is recent or many years past, we can work with the waves of emotion, the changes in identity and relationships, and the practical realities of living with loss. I also have experience supporting parents through child loss and pregnancy loss, including miscarriage, TFMR, stillbirth, and neonatal loss.

Further information

I can do home visits, especially for the elderly, people who don't have a computer or those who find it difficult to get around.

I offer a 30 minutes free telephone consultation so you can feel if I am the right person for you.

My sessions are 50 minutes, they do not have to be weekly, the frequency is up to you, if you feel you only need several sessions this is fine.

I also offer nature therapy walks, as living in the forest is ideal for this, soaking in the sunshine and nature is such a beautiful, relaxing experience.

I currently volunteer for a bereavement charity.
