About me
I work online nationwide and in person in Devizes, Wiltshire and with adults of all ages and young people from the age of 16.
If you are reading this you may feel alone, overwhelmed, or like you just don't know where to turn. Life may have become increasingly difficult, and you may be finding it hard to cope. At times like these talking to a trained professional who gets what you are going through can help.
I know how daunting it can be to reach out for help at these times but also how healing it can be. I am a warm, supportive, counsellor and believe that trust is central to building a successful therapeutic relationship I, therefore, spend time trying to understand what life is like for you and how you experience things and together we begin to explore what brings you to counselling and find a way forward
My approach is integrative drawing from a range of theories and techniques and finding the ones that work best for you. I believe the relationship between counsellor and client is crucial to the success of the work and therefore offer an initial session at half price where you can meet me, we can explore your expectations and needs and you can get a sense of whether I am the right counsellor for you.

Training, qualifications & experience
BA (Hons) in Integrative-Relational Counselling
Level 3 in Counselling Skills and Theory
Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies
I have experience of working with a range of issues and a special interest in working with eating disorders, neurodiversity and low confidence/self-esteem.
I work for two counselling charities, 1 specialising in eating disorders and one specialising in working with Autistic clients.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
