Could you benefit from a place to explore your thoughts and feelings?
I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I provide therapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment.
I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
There are many reasons why people come for counselling and psychotherapy. Often people seek help when their lives are not going well or they are overwhelmed by their feelings. Often there can be a trigger for these feelings. Sometimes clients know the triggers and counselling can help them talk their feelings. Sometimes the trigger is unknown and counselling can help explore thoughts and feelings to better understand the trigger and patterns of behaviour.
I use an integrative approach to therapy drawing upon different theoretical influences according to the needs of the client. This includes CBT, metallisation techniques, mindfulness, psychoanalytic thinking and psycho-education.
