About me
You might be here because something doesn’t feel right - perhaps you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift. For some people, this connects to past experiences or trauma, and for others it can feel harder to pinpoint. Either way, you don’t have to work through it alone.
I specialise in trauma-informed counselling, supporting people to understand how past experiences can continue to affect the present - often showing up as anxiety, low mood, emotional overwhelm, or difficulties in relationships. Alongside trauma work, I also support clients with anxiety, depression, and addiction.
My approach is warm, grounded and non-judgemental. I aim to create a space where you can talk openly at your own pace, without pressure. Together, we can begin to make sense of what’s been happening for you and find ways to help you feel more stable, more in control, and more like yourself again.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas in Counselling and have completed Level 6 training, with results pending. I am currently studying at SEG Level 7 (Master’s level) in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
Alongside my training, I have experience working closely with people facing difficulties such as anxiety, trauma, depression, low mood, and emotional distress. I come from a background of supporting individuals through challenging life experiences, offering a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to talk.
My work is trauma-informed and client-centred, and I value working at each person’s pace. I am committed to ethical practice, regular supervision, and ongoing learning to ensure clients feel supported and understood
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
