About me
Within my counselling work I incorporate a gentle framework that is primarily focused on giving you an empowered sense of emotional clarity, supporting you through personally conflicting periods. Additionally, when a client wishes to work at a deeper level emotionally and fully comprehend which past experiences may have led them to this point I support them by intuitively selecting a variety of tools and approaches during sessions that enable them to identify how patterns of behaviour have evolved. Many of the tools I incorporate align with inner Child work, the foundations of Jungian Psychology and the principles of Psychodynamic theory - simply put, these collective tools help to identify subconscious patterns of thinking and being that can lead to dysfunctional or undermining patterns of behaviour throughout your life.
In addition to my private practice work I also work within the NHS as an Integrative Health Practitioner, supporting the work of a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Good Hope Hospital, offering patients counselling, healing and mindfulness techniques. I am located at clinics in Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire and Internationally via zoom.
I have supported family through terminal and mental illness, death and debilitating bereavement, I believe my personal life experience is equal to my professional qualifications and time in practice. Combined they enable me to support individuals form a robust and unique foundation, in recognition of your own unique journey and how life experiences can positively shape us and at times break us.
