CBT Therapist (BABCP Accreditation)

About me

Therapy Services

I offer one-to-one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) sessions for adults, children and young people. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical focused on helping you better understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours so you can make meaningful changes in your life.

I offer CBT-informed couples therapy to help improve communication, resolve conflicts, and address unhelpful patterns in relationships. Using CBT principles, I work with couples to develop practical skills for managing emotional challenges together. I also integrate DBT-informed skills for emotion regulation to support both individuals and couples in building healthier, more resilient relationships.

I work with a range of difficulties, including:

  • All Anxiety Disorders
  • Low mood and depression
  • Eating disorders and body image concerns
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Emotion regulation difficulties
  • Self-esteem and confidence issues
  • Neurodivergent experiences (including ADHD and autism)
  • CBT informed therapy for couples
  • I also have experience supporting families affected by eating disorders.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 7 years of experience working in mental health. I work with people across all age groups from children and young people to adults and understand that everyone’s experience is unique.

I hold:

  • A BSc in Psychology
  • A Master’s in Psychology and Mental Health
  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- Eating Disorders

I specialise in CBT for eating disorders, and also work more broadly with a wide range of mental health difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety disorders (e.g. social anxiety, health anxiety, OCD)
  • Depression and low mood
  • Trauma and difficult life experiences
  • Neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism
  • Emotion regulation difficulties

My experience includes working with both individuals and families, offering 1:1 CBT, emotional support, and in-depth assessments across a variety of settings. I aim to create a calm, compassionate space where you feel heard and supported. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you move towards meaningful change.

I can also offer therapy in Bengali, and I take a thoughtful, inclusive approach to cultural and personal identity in therapy

15 minute Consultation

Book
I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation to help you decide if CBT is the right fit for you. This is a chance for you to ask any questions about how I work, what therapy involves, and what you’re hoping to get support with.

There’s no pressure to commit, it’s simply an opportunity to talk through what you need and see whether working together feels right.

If you’d like to book a free consultation, please get in touch via the contact form or email me directly.

Initial CBT Assessment - 60 to 120 Minutes

  • 1 hour @ £85.00
  • 2 hours @ £150

Your first session is an extended assessment where we explore your current difficulties, history, and therapy goals. We’ll begin developing a personalised CBT formulation, a shared understanding of what’s keeping the problem going and how therapy can help.

You’ll receive feedback and a clear recommendation for therapy at the end of the session.
