About me
People often describe me as warm, kind, and easy to talk to. I believe therapy should be a space where nothing is off limits - where you can bring your thoughts, feelings, fears, and experiences without worrying about judgment. Creating that sense of safety and openness is at the heart of how I work.
I work with women across many different stages of life, supporting clients through low self-worth, depression, feeling lost, relationship difficulties, loneliness, past trauma, and shame. I feel deeply privileged to walk alongside people during both the painful and meaningful moments in their lives.
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing clients begin to trust themselves again, build confidence, and celebrate their wins no matter how small they may seem. At the same time, I value being able to sit with people through grief, uncertainty, and difficult emotions without trying to rush or “fix” them.
My approach is person-centred and grounded in the therapeutic relationship. I believe healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who they are.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor and Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP).
I can support with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, life transitions, and more. Although I work from a primarily person-centred approach, I tailor therapy to each individual. Together, we can explore what feels right for you and work at a pace that supports your needs and goals.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation where we can talk about what’s brought you to therapy and what you might need.
This is also a chance for you to get a sense of me and how I work - there’s no obligation to continue, just an opportunity to see if it feels like the right fit.
