About me
I am a professionally qualified and accredited Psychotherapeutic counsellor and also a fully qualified hypnotherapist. I'm an integrative practitioner working predominantly in person-centred. This means that I am able to provide a treatment plan that best suits you. I use techniques such as mindfulness, CBT, psychodynamic and psychoanalysis, humanistic and gestalt.
Training, qualifications & experience
I retrained and studied for my qualifications during my 12 years' service in the British Army. As a mum of two I no run a private practice and music is my therapy.
I've gained a wealth of knowledge and experience through working for charities such as Anxiety Alliance, where I worked with a broad range of presenting issues. If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss I can help you.
I have also gained valuable experience working with Rape Crisis. Here I worked with issues such as abuse, childhood sexual abuse, sexual violence, sexual assault, trauma and PTSD. If you have been affected by any of these issues get in touch, I can help you.
