You've taken the first step....
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious or low in your self-esteem? You've had enough of struggling through each day, not feeling great and you really don't want to feel like this anymore!
The way that you've been feeling is having an impact on your general wellbeing, your closest relationships and your day to day activities. You want to get back to feeling like you, or rediscovering who 'you' are now. You are ready to take the courageous step of coming to therapy, where you can explore and process how you are feeling in a space just for you. To start on your journey to healing or moving into a more contented, authentic life.
How I work
I am trained to provide you with the best environment for personal growth- through talking therapy. I can provide you with a space where you have time and undivided, compassionate attention, so you can start to understand your thoughts and feelings and talk in confidence without judgement.
Having uninterrupted, confidential time and space to gently unpack issues which have been bothering you can be life-changing.
I draw upon two different counselling approaches, this gives flexibility to suit what you are needing, session to session. Using the person-centred approach means I will not pressure you into talking about a particular area of your life, instead I will be lead by you, at your pace, to focus on the areas you choose. You are the expert on you!
Our working relationship is imperative to the therapeutic process, and you will get from me the promise to have your best interests at heart, to be honest with you and to treat you with compassion and respect.
The second approach I am trained in is called psychodynamic therapy. One of the elements of this approach is considering together how your past experiences and early relationships have an impact on your current relationships, behaviour and beliefs.
With knowledge comes power, and bringing areas like this into your awareness is often the first step to making longer lasting, positive change. Moments of realisation or ‘light bulb’ moments are experienced when clients have been given the time and space to talk about the here and now and often link it up to the past. Things start to make sense and with that feeling of clarity comes more room for change.

Next Steps
If you can relate to any of the above or are considering counselling, I would love to hear from you. From there, we can get an initial 15-minute phone call booked in to have a chat and see how it feels to work together.
Training, qualifications & experience
Throughout my counselling work, I have had the privilege of working with diverse clients across the education and charity sector, which include working for Longfield Community Hospice in Minchinhampton, delivering bereavement counselling, and Bath Spa University, counselling students experiencing a broad spectrum of issues. I have also worked with clients identifying as being neurodiverse.
I am forever grateful for this experience and the clients I have met, who have been vulnerable, brave, and trusting in me; to share part of their stories, enabling us to work together to help them strengthen their sense of wellbeing.
I have since been working in private practise since January 2026 working with clients in person in Chipping Sodbury and online worldwide. A lot of my work is with women who are wanting to understand themselves further, explore their experiences to date, which may have shaped them into who they are now and support each of them with their unique goals and reasons for coming to therapy.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
