Rachel Ball BSc (Hons) MBACP
Hello and welcome.
I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor based in my home in central Norwich, Norfolk and I offer short, medium and long term counselling depending on your needs. My training enables me to bring together a variety of therapeutic approaches which allows me to work with many different problems.
I offer a safe, confidential and friendly environment which enables you to explore your issues at your own pace. I hold the belief that you are unique and counselling can give you an opportunity to develop self awareness and a place where the possibility of change and healing can occur. This space i offer can allow you to find your own voice where you can then gain insight and understanding of your issues. This insight can lead you to making clearer choices in your life. I believe that everyone has the capacity to change.
My focus is to offer you the space where you are heard, understood and not judged. I believe that the relationship between myself and my client is fundamental for therapy to be effective. Therefore developing a trusting connection between us allows you to fully experience an open and honest relationship.
I have seen clients experiencing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and bereavement, which may be causing you distress or confusion. Relationships with significant others can often be difficult and I can help you work through these issues to discover the right way forward for you.
What to expect in the first Session
I believe this session is very important as it gives us both a chance to get to know eachother and explore yours goals for coming to counselling. If you feel you would like to work with me we can then come to an agreement when to meet again. It is useful if you come with any questions that you have been thinking about in relation to counselling enabling you to make the most of this initial session. In this session we can look at the number of sessions that you may require, this maybe anything from 6 sessions to longer term therapy. The number of sessions agreed will be reviewed regularly, this isn't set in stone.
Please feel free to call me on 07787114392 to book an initial session or if you need any more information about the service i provide. You can also leave a message or text me and i will get back to you.
Parking is available.
Accessibility to my house is via 3 steps leading up to my front door.
