Rachael Rudd BEd; MA; MBACP; Individual, couple and family therapist
I am an experienced relationship therapist and a registered member with the with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. As well as my private practice I work with Relate where I work with couples, families and individuals. I have worked with families in different settings for over 20 years which has given me a great insight into the family and couple relationships.
Counselling allows us to consider the ways we are thinking or feeling in more depth; to look at our problems and find new ways to respond to them. I can help you find a way through difficulties you may be facing and move forward to make the most of your couple and family relationships, past present or future.
As an integrative therapist, I work with a range of skills and techniques from different therapeutic orientations, which means I can adapt my work to suit your needs. I work with individuals, couples, families and young people.
Starting counselling can feel a little overwhelming, so it is important to be able to foster a relationship with your therapist which is safe, and allows you to freely explore your issues in an open and trusting environment. For this reason, my aim is to provide a non-judgemental, confidential space, where you can explore any problems that you are having to deal with in your life.
