Together, working collaboratively, we will explore your difficulties, thoughts and feelings in a safe environment in order for you to unlock your inner potential to find your own solutions and to make informed choices which are right for you.

I use a combined Humanistic approach with CBT techniques to assist you to manage symptoms, such as those associated with anxiety and depression, whilst also seeking out the roots of the challenges you may be facing. You can view Frequently Asked Questions and more information on the therapeutic approach I use by visiting my website (click on the link to the right on this page).

''My Sessions have helped me to peel off the armour I didn't know I was carrying around. It has been very freeing and liberating to feel listened to and acknowledged in all of my personal struggles and celebrations. ''Your Sessions have been an invaluable experience to my recovery process in grieving the major losses in my life'' (Feb 2018)

''Rachael provided me with not only a safe space but also her finely tuned skills to help me explore and understand my problems and the outcome has been very significant and life changing, especially in the way I see things and how I understand myself and my behaviours much better so I can change them." Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
