About me

I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor with nearly 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and young people. I offer a calm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported as you work through life’s challenges and move towards greater wellbeing.

Who I Support

I work with children, teenagers, adults, families, adults navigating later life, and individuals living with disabilities. My work is grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience, with an approach that is warm, collaborative, and culturally sensitive.

Expatriates & Global Families

With more than a decade of international experience, I specialise in supporting expatriates and globally mobile families. I understand the emotional impact of frequent transition, including relocation fatigue, loss, identity challenges, and finding stability in a life shaped by change.

Life Transitions & Everyday Challenges

I support clients through major life transitions, such as moving, parenthood, career changes, grief, as well as common emotional and relational challenges. Therapy can be a space not only for healing, but also for reflection, resilience, and personal growth.

I Can Support You With:

Anxiety, stress, low mood, and depression
Life transitions and adjustment
Identity, belonging, and feelings of rootlessness
Relationship and family challenges
Parenting support
Birth-related trauma and postnatal wellbeing
Adults navigating later life
Support for individuals living with disabilities
Grief and loss
Emotional regulation and self-esteem
Expatriate and globally mobile lifestyles

How I Work

My style is warm, grounded, and relational. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to your needs in a way that is ethical, inclusive, and collaborative. Whether you seek short-term support or deeper exploration, I aim to foster a safe and trusting space where insight, resilience, and meaningful change feels possible.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
