About me
Welcome
I’m a qualified and experienced counsellor with almost 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families. I offer a calm, compassionate, and confidential space where children, young people, and adults can explore what’s going on in their lives, make sense of their experiences, and move towards greater wellbeing.
Who I Work With
I work with people of all ages and from all walks of life - children, teenagers, adults, and families. My work is shaped by a genuine respect for each person’s unique story and situation. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or just have a sense that something isn’t quite right, I offer a space where you can feel safe, heard, and supported.
Expatriates and Global Nomads
For more than a decade, I’ve worked internationally with expatriates and globally mobile families. I understand the rewards and the emotional strain of a life marked by regular change. Frequent moves, shifting roles, and constant goodbyes can take a toll on mental health, identity, and relationships.
I support adults, children, and families dealing with the emotional impact of transition, including relocation fatigue, feelings of disconnection, loss, and the challenge of maintaining stability in a transient environment. My approach is grounded in cultural sensitivity and informed by lived experience in international settings.
Life Transitions and Everyday Struggles
I often work with clients who are navigating times of transition- whether it’s a move, a new role, parenthood, loss, or change in direction. These moments can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and emotionally complex.
Alongside this, I also work with many of the everyday concerns that bring people to therapy: anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and the general challenges of being human. Therapy doesn’t have to be about crisis- it can also be a space for reflection, growth, and strengthening your inner resources.
I Can Help With:
- Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
- Low mood and depression
- Family and relationship difficulties
- Parenting support
- Emotional regulation and self-esteem
- Identity, belonging, and rootlessness
- Life transitions and adjustment
- Expatriate and globally mobile lifestyles
- Grief and loss
- Support for children, teenagers, adults, and families
How I Work
My style is warm, down-to-earth, and relational. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most useful to you, and I always work in a way that is ethical, culturally sensitive, and tailored to your needs.
Whether you’re coming for a short period of support or hoping to explore something more deeply, I aim to create a therapeutic relationship where trust, curiosity, and real change can take root.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
