About me

My time as a therapist has shown me again and again that given the right conditions, we all have the ability to help ourselves through whatever it is that we might be going through. My practice aims to provide you with an environment of genuine care, respect and curiosity with whatever it is you would you like to bring to our time together.

I am passionate about aiming to help instill a sense of personal agency and control into people's lives; opening up to the idea that whilst not everything that happens to us in life may be our fault or particularly fair, it is always our responsibility to choose how we act. When we embrace that we take back the control in our lives and get to own the subsequent consequences that are born of our decisions.

If this sounds like something you would like to follow up on then I am here for you on the contact details provided. You may also like to visit my website - www.patrickcartercounselling.com
