About me

I am a qualified psychotherapist/counsellor and supervisor. I offer supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors.

I an qualified in EMDR for both Adults and Children . EMDR is a specialist intervention for trauma and anxiety as well as many life long issues.

I offer confidential counselling for a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, bereavement and relationship issues. I run a successful practice in a discreet office based in the south side of Glasgow just off M77 J2. There is ample car parking. Take a look at the testimonial page on my website to read why others recommend me.

I specialise in anxiety and offer clients a programme I have developed which personalises treatment to your own specific anxiety symptoms.

Feeling unhappy, sad,  and anxious is likely to impact on every area of your life and can be extremely debilitating to everyday activities. Often clients highlight how islolated and alone they feel.

With empathy and understanding I will listen without judgement to your issues and help you work out a way forward that is right for you. Often speaking to a person who is not connected to your life allows a freedom to voice honest emotions and troubles.

I offer face-to-face or online counselling.

I will help you understand how you relate to yourself and others and explore how your relationships affect how you feel.

My work with couples facilitates improving communication to initiate conflict resolution and introduce new ways of working together within your relationship.

I offer Supervision to qualified and trainee supervisees and run group supervision if numbers and demand permit.

I am a registered member of UKCP and follow their code of ethics to inform my work.

Specialist in Obesity. Being overweight is not just about eating food. Often there are deep psychological issues that we use food to manage.

I offer a comprehensive therapeutic programme to help you understand what lies behind over eating and being obese.

Being obese impacts on every area of life and many of my clients have a huge sense of relief to find out that they are not greedy, lazy or stupid but that they are using food to manage their emotions.
