I trained at the renowned Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships in London, where I currently work. I also have my own practice in Hildenborough, Kent. I can be easily reached from Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Surrey, Sussex and South East London.
I work with a wide range of relationship and sexual problems. I am also trained in Sensate Focus therapy, which empowers couples to reconnect sexually, in a sensitive and gradual way. My background in District Nursing enables me to connect with people in an understanding and approachable way, enabling clients to explore intimate problems.
Training, qualifications & experience
BA (Hons) English and History of Art
RN(Adult Nursing)
Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling (Westminster Pastoral Foundation)
Postgraduate Diploma in Couple and Individual Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy. TCCR (UEL)
MSc in Pychosexual and Relationship Therapy. TCCR (UEL)
After a career in district nursing i trained to become a counsellor and psychotherapist, specialising in couple and psychosexual therapy. I have a special interest in how couples and individuals manage the many challenges and life stages we all face.
I strongly believe that there is not enough help out there for couples to manage problems they may have, and this includes their sexual relationship. Problems that couples experience also impact on any children they might have, and this can cause wider problems for the extended family.
Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists
COSRT is the UK’s leading membership organisation for therapists specialising in sexual and relationship issues.
All members must abide by their Code of Ethics and the performance of accredited members is regularly monitored.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
