BA Hons Edu PG Dip Counsellor/Psychotherapist (MBACP)

Online/Telephone Counselling for adults and young people (13+)

Reconnect. Rebalance. Rediscover You.

I'm a registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MBACP), offering remote counselling to adults and young people (13+). My approach is person-centred and grounded in the belief that healing begins with reconnection to self - mind, body and soul. When life feels overwhelming, therapy offers a safe space to reconnect with yourself and restore balance in your life. I offer flexible sessions outside working hours so you can prioritise your needs and focus on your wellbeing.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low mood, trauma (including childhood trauma), low self-esteem, work-related stress, identity issues (including intersectionality), grief, and life transitions such as menopause or midlife crisis. My style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative, tailored to your pace and goals, to enable autonomy throughout the process.

With over four years of clinical experience, including time in the NHS IAPT service, five years of training, and a background in education spanning 15 years, I bring a deep understanding of emotional burnout, parenting, and life adjustments. I also have insights into the impact of separation, addiction, and family breakdown on both adults and young people, through my volunteer work, with families and young people affected by trauma, separation and loss.

Drawing from my work in the NHS, volunteering and my own life experiences, I bring a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and trauma-informed approach to my work.

I offer 50-minute sessions via telephone or video, with both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs. Flexible scheduling is available, including evenings and weekends.

Ready to begin? Book your first session and take the next step towards your journey to healing, on your terms, in your time.
Reach out today and give yourself the space to reconnect, rebalance and rediscover You.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
