Pam Leslie Psychotherapeutic Counsellor UKCP accredited
About me
Because of having to adapt to due to Covid-19 I am now offering online sessions using Zoom or What's App.
As I have specialised in working with stress management and anxiety in different modalities, for over thirty years, I feel well equipped to assist in supporting clients through difficult times.
I offer a calm, supportive and affirming approach that can help look at the issues such as anxiety, depression, sadness, low self esteem or relationship problems as well as trauma, PTSD, and bereavement.
Listening to you and what your needs are, talking about whatever is on your mind and helping sort out the deeper issues that may be known or unconconcious.
My aim is to assist you on your journey to find resolution whether short or long term.
It may be relevant to explore how relationships from the past have had an influence on your perception of self and others. Working with you to assist change from negative self belief, into a more fulfilling and authentic, empowered sense of self.
I also may bring in to the sessions how we connect to our physicality, for example, where in the body are emotions stuck or held in negative patterns and how to safely let them go. Helping to change self-attacking or destructive thoughts and beliefs to become more positive and more true to the the real self.
The process of therapy can help you work at at your own pace, to shift negative influences to more positive outcomes.
With a background in creative arts and holistic therapies I can draw on over 30 years of experience of therapeutic work that included working with businesses and professionals.
